Description Jacob Emcken 2005-12-13 12:54:46 UTC
I use both gnome-terminal and gedit alot and I find it annoying that the
shortcut keys for shifting between tabs are not the same in the two applications.
For those (like me) who use the keayboard alot it would give more consistency to
have the shortcut keys be the same.
Perhapes other applications have different keyborad shortcuts as well, dunno
what Epiphany uses?

Shift tabs with gedit use: Ctrl+Alt+PgUp or Ctrl+Alt+PgDn
Shift tabs with gnome-terminal: Ctrl+PgUp or Ctrl+PgDn

I prefer the keys used with gnoem-terminal which is also used in Firefox.

Gnome-terminal lacks a maintainer, better to let gedit make the decision. Gedit already has a bug about it, duping.
