Description Karsten Bräckelmann 2005-12-03 14:54:36 UTC
The --force-shutdown option does not shutdown exchange-storage since 2.4. This
is a bad thing. Please add this feature back in, as described in the help:

$ evolution-2.4 --help | grep -A 1 force-shutdown
--force-shutdown Forcibly shut down all Evolution
                                         components

...or the parameter explanation should be changed. ;-)

anyway, confirming.
Comment 2 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-01-14 22:22:32 UTC

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 323115 ***
Comment 3 Harish Krishnaswamy 2006-01-16 13:58:49 UTC
No - this is not a dupe of 323115.

The second fix for 323115 was for allowing exchange addressbook and calendar modules to get queried and loaded with their API versions.

This bug is about shutting down evolution-exchange-storage. BTW, looking at the killev code in Evo, I can positively state that code for shutting down e-e-s using the evolution force-shutdown operation never existed in any of the previous versions. I will post a patch if someone *really* wants it.

*poke*
any news on this?
Comment 5 André Klapper 2006-05-19 18:30:26 UTC
not *that* important to me. removing old target milestone.
(guenther may contradict, of course. ;-)
Comment 6 Matthew Barnes 2008-11-19 14:55:57 UTC
Works fine now. Closing as OBSOLETE.
