Description m.oliver 2005-11-30 20:47:04 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Stentz)
Package: evince
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 0.4.x
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Crash on reload document
Bugzilla-Product: evince
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 0.4.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:

Evince crashes regularly, but not always, on reload (CTRL-r keyboard
shortcut).
The documents where I notice this happen are generated by pdflatex with
the pdfscreen package for producing PDF slides.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Open document
2. Rerun pdflatex on modified source file
3. CTRL-r in evince -> CRASH

Expected Results:
No crash.

How often does this happen?
About half of the time, maybe even more often.

Additional Information:
Crash is reproducible on second (!) reload with the following file:
http://math.iu-bremen.de/oliver/augsburg.pdf
Something is specific to this file; crash does not happen with other
very similar files on simple reloads, but does happen on reload after
document changes.
