Description Jörg Höhle 2005-11-16 17:04:20 UTC
Please describe the problem:
yelp man:xscreensaver really confuses the man->yelp formatter. In effect:

a) .RS 4 is not recognized - a literal "4" appears in the output in section
CONFIGURATION, after "I repeat":

.SH CONFIGURATION
[4 lines of text]

I'll repeat that because it's important:

.RS 4
The easy way to configure"...

Output is
4 The easy way to configure ...

b) yelp displays the following structure
...
Using XDM [...text not copied here and in the following sections]
 Using GDM (note indentation)
  Using KDE
   Using CDE
    Using HP
  Using CDE
   Using HP
  Using HP
   Using CDE
 ...[plenty more sections like this]

Afterwards, yelp gets in sync again and terminates with the ENVIRONMENT, SEE
ALSO etc. sections.

Regards,
 Jörg Höhle

Steps to reproduce:
1. yelp man:xscreensaver
2.
3.

Actual results:
a) 4 (from .RS 4) is seen literally in the display, instead of causing indentation
b) nested and duplicated sections about CDE, KDE, HP

Expected results:
correct structure and indentation, no repeated sections.

Does this happen every time?
yes
