he say (german)
"Fehler bei Ordner »Inbox« wird gespeichert. Zusammenfassung und
Ordner stimmen nicht überein, sogar nach einer Synchronisierung"

yeah, english, please, the next time. :-)

if it's a POP account, shutdown evolution entirely by "evolution
--force-shutdown" and go to the directory $/.evolution/mail/local/ and remove
Inbox.ev-summary and then start evolution again.
