Description Adomas J. 2005-10-18 18:01:18 UTC
Distribution/Version: Gentoo Linux 2.6.13.4

With "Move layers and selections" tool try to drag a selection using a keyboard
shortcut alt+mouse move and you will see that not the selection who is moving,
but whole window. KDE takes function of this key combination. This is only one
example of the problem, but there's a lot more examples :-) I'm not sure if
these problems exist in older versions of KDE than 3.5, but KDE 3.5 has this
problem for sure. GIMP cloud check if he's running in KDE or GNOME enviroment
and try to integrate into desktop enviroment.

This is not a KDE-specific problem. As far as I know all platforms suffer from
this problem.
