Distribution/Version: XP Home Edition (Chinese)

try to select an area on the image, then press ctrl-c to copy the selection to 
clipboard, the following message is shown:

Pango-WARNING (recursed) *** Couldn't load font "xxx" falling back to "Sans 9" 
aborting...

after click ok on the dialog, GIMP closed without saving the image being 
edited.

This problem happen many times, and is reproducable. However, it does not 
happen all the time.

I just tried again. This bug also exist in the stable 2.2.8. Exact procedure 
to ensure it always appear:

1. open a new image
2. write some text on the image
3. finish editing the text but keep the text as selected layer
4. use the marquee tool to select anywhere on the background image
5. press Ctrl-C
