could you please try resubscribing to the INBOX again. If it still does not
help. Please do the following:
* export CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG=1 and run evolution from the command line. And
please select the folder Inbox and attach the traces you get here.
Thanks.

I tried to run evolution whit an other user and subscribe to my IMAP-account
from that user (my own evolution was not running at the same time). But I did
not get any INBOX on the IMAP-account ...

I've attached the debuglog, but the Inbox i selected was NOT the one from my
IMAP-account (because it's not there), but the Inbox from "On This Computer".

Same issue here but with a fresh install (Ubuntu Breezy). Mails are downloaded
(they are indexed by Beagle) but are not displayed. The issue only appear in the
inbox. Tested with three different mail accounts on the same IMAP server. No
problem with Thunderbird.

I can't see anything particular in the debug: nothing happens when I go in my
inbox. This bug is very annoying and I'd like to help so do not hesitate to ask
for complicated bug reports ;)

I am guessing all of you are using a Courier Imap server, kapish ?
Comment 5 parthasarathi susarla 2005-10-19 06:16:16 UTC
Thanks for the info Thomas,
Actually there is a small issue with the way Courier IMAP servers work.

Doing a couple of things should solve this issue.
Goto Edit->Preferences->Account Preferences->Receiving Options tab and check the
"Show only Subscribed Folders" option. And then Subscring to INBOX or any other
folder should actually be subscribed. Checking this option actually Enables
subscription on the account.

(Technically however, when this option is not check all the folder have to be
displayed.)

Thanks.
