Description Alexander “weej” Jones 2005-10-13 00:27:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
See attachment for details.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter list view
2. Create a symlink

Actual results:
Icon completely obscured by a very badly drawn symlink emblem.

Expected results:
At least /part/ of the icon visible, and a symlink emblem that doesn't look rubbish!

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
No.

Thanks. :)

Badly drawn symlink emblems

Note how they completely obscure the file icons.

"Vidéo" folder emblem is hidden by the symlink icon

Another problem is even that it is placed in front of emblems, that therefore
are not visible... The "Vidéo" directory only shows the symlink icon. While we
see that this one has the Multimedia emblem set, we don't see the emblem. The
symlink icon should be smaller in list view, to let at least one emblem
visible.

May someone put this in NEW state ?
Comment 4 Alexander “weej” Jones 2006-02-09 20:21:43 UTC
I don't think the devs differentiate UNCONFIRMED from NEW, but I might be wrong.

It's most definitely reproduceable though! :P
Comment 5 Alexander “weej” Jones 2006-06-04 23:45:04 UTC
Emblem only scales badly with the default GNOME icon set.

The real problem, however, is that it completely obscures other emblems.
