Description Avery Fay 2005-09-21 18:01:49 UTC
I notice that while playing klondike I accidently hit new game a lot instead of
turning over the next card. This is really annoying (especially when I'm about
to win). I suggest that new game button triggers a dialog that can be canceled
(maybe not always... just when there are moves left to be made).

There is one thing guaranteed to drive you mad quicker than accidentally hitting
the new game button: having to close silly dialog boxes confirming every trivial
action. We have a general policy of avoiding confirmation dialogs in gnome-games.
So I'm not going to add one.

As a work-around try either increasing the window size (to increase the amount
you have to miss the card by) or remove the toolbar (look in the view menu).

It doesn’t have to be a confirmation dialog per se. I agree that this would be annoying.

How about the ability to undo the "new game" action?

This bug is being reassigned to the "general" component so we can close the aisleriot bugzilla component. Apologies for the mass email!
