Description WareKala 2005-09-18 20:53:33 UTC
As the Gnome desktop seems to be adding support for HAL in an ever-increasing
amount of programs, I thought adding support for that in Vino would be useful.
All that was required would be for Vino to publish the information whenever
there is a VNC connection available to that user's desktop.

I don't really know should these two requests be part of Vino, but it seems
logical to propose them too here: A "Connect To Remote Desktop" app, which would
just use HAL to list all the available machines on the network and allow
connecting to them via a single click (and asking for password if necessary),
and another app called "Request Remote Assistance". This second app would ask
for a brief description of problem and wait for any administrator's response.
