Description Sebastian Grössl 2005-09-15 22:02:57 UTC
Version details: 0.8.11
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy

Steps to reproduce:

$ gst-launch -t -v playbin uri=http://listen.fm4.amd.co.at:31337/fm4-mq.ogg

What happens:
Wait until Artist/Title (Künstler/Titel) Information changes. This normally
happens every 30s.
Now the stream skips but continues to play. This happens every 30s.

What should happen:
Playback should not skip.

Happens every time:
Yes. (Except when Artist/Title Info doesn't change)

Additional info:
I found this bug, because Rhythmbox 0.9.0 finally supports this stream. In 0.8.0
it just stopped playback with an error, when Artist/Title Info changed.

We always had problems with chained Ogg's in 0.8. I wanted to test the streams
using 0.10 but the stream seems to be down. Virgin Radio's Ogg streams work fine
for me with 0.10. Please retest with 0.10. We don't have resources to maintain
both 0.8 and 0.10 at the same time, so only 0.8 bugs with patches will be looked
at from here on.
