Description:
Description of the crash:
Evolution 2.2 crashes hard on startup under SuSE 9.3. Last action is
asking the pasword for an EXchange2003 OWA access. Crashes even if
nothing is done; i.e. the crash is on some parallel process to the
dialog.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. start evolution
2. wait
3.

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
every time ob startup. even if all configs are removed. Wizard starets
up and asks questions about the exchnage server to be connected,
legitimation is successfully tested. When Evo starts up for real after
the wizard, it crashes. All following tries end in the same crash as

specific to exchange code.

I see this error
(evolution:14219): GConf-WARNING **: Owner of /tmp/gconfd-root and
/tmp/orbit-root is not the current user

Some problem with your setup?

kill all the evolution related processes, gconfd, bonobo-activation-server and restart evolution and see if the problem still exists?

also please disable exchange account you are having and see if you still see
this problem?
Did you try any import operation when it crashed?
