When adding a File Chooser or a MessageDialog there are no action_area buttons
and I could not find a way of adding them manually.

We can add buttons to dialogs. This bug, and duplicates are quite old, perhaps I am missing something. Inspecting the file after adding buttons, there is an action area, but no buttons property is set. I can't even find a buttons property on a Dialog, so I must be missing the point somewhere.

  This bug is so old that I don't remember anything about it or even filing it. :)
