Description Lance Dockins 2005-08-25 16:54:48 UTC
Since most proprietary image editing software distributions have geometric shape
creation tools, like line, circle, square tools etc. It would be both effective
and competitive to have the same tools in GIMP. That would allow you to do
basic shape creation either with outlines or fill without having to produce the
shapes manually.

Long sought for. Note that the Gfig plug-in does some of this -- but isn't
nearly as satisfactory as a full-fledged shapes tool would be.

Also note that you could have found the duplication by searching for "shapes tool".
