Usually you need to switch the word wrap mode on/off to make some parth of the
document more readable. Then you usually like to switch back to "normal" mode. 

It would be easier if word wrap could be enabled from menu instead of
preferences dialog. Changing it with the dialog is quite cumbersome. Also, IMHO,
word wrap feature should be per document, not global for gedit.
