Description Poornima 2005-08-10 13:00:50 UTC
Select a recurring meeting, right clisk and select 'Make this occurence
movable'. A new instance is created which is non recurring but the original
instance of recurring meeting doesnt get deleted

Thanks for your bug report.

I was able to reproduce this bug with the following steps:

1. Create a recurring meeting (eg. from 7:00-8:00).
2. Select 'Make this occurence movable' for one instance.
3. Change the recurring meetings (eg. from 8:00-9:00).

You should now have a day with two meetings, one from 7 till 8 and one from 8
till 9.

Expected result would be that the movable occurence should not be changed in
time and that no additional occurence should appear on the date of this occurence.

My version of Evolution is 2.2.3.

This is not need for groupwise appointments as they are already detached
appointments. We just have to disable it.
Comment 3 Carsten Guenther 2005-09-14 05:49:29 UTC
Cannot reproduce this bug in 2.4.0. Occurrence is made movable and original instance of series does not
show up. Another problem is that Evolution then hangs, which is described in bug 312474.

This bug should be closed fixed and another one opened for the groupwise-specific change.
Comment 4 Jan Boehm 2005-09-18 15:18:11 UTC
I upgraded to Evolution 2.4.0 and the bug is still present. I can not confirm
comment #3.
