I've having this issue for quite some time now, can someone tell me how to clean
the recent documents in gnome-panel ? Clicking on the 'Clear Recent Documents'
button don't clear anything.

Can't reproduce this bug with recent CVS build.

bug 308779 may be a duplicate.

Yes these bugs are related to it. And no it doesn't work for me (never worked)
with CVS but then if it requires a FAM, Inotify or Dnotify notification to get
triggered then it might explain something of course. But then the appropriate
way would be to not rely on FAM, Inotify or Dnotify here. It's not just that the
panel isnt updated, the file itself isn't touched either. So the best way would
be to force a clean of this file by creating an empty document maybe ? Relying
on FAM should be deprecated anyways.
