Bring up the zoom dialog via View -> Zoom...
Notice there are two options with misplaced %-signs:
-Fit selection %
-Custom % [spinbutton]

This should IMO be: (well at least in LTR-locales)
-Fit selection         (without the %-sign)
-Custom [spinbutton]%
