Description Fabrice Bellet 2005-07-16 19:00:31 UTC
Hello,

I run evolution on a Fedora Core 4, on which I downgraded to pilot-link-0.11.8
to get a working gnome-pilot applet/daemon couple. Then, I noticed that, the
evolution todo conduit has a problem, when some tasks have been removed from the
desktop, and when this change is reported back to the pilot.

the call to e_cal_get_changes() in pre_sync() in todo-conduit.c from evolution,
returns more items than deleted, like it is described in this message :
http://lists.ximian.com/pipermail/evolution-hackers/2005-March/005257.html

The consequence is that a lot of empty tasks are created pilot-side, with no
good reason. Appling the patch from the above messages solves this issue for me.
Would it be possible to review it and eventually to merge it upstream ?

This bug has already been filed under the evolution product in conduits
component (Bug 271969). The patch given by the link mentioned above in the bug
description in this report resolves the issue. Marking as RESOLVED Duplicate of
the bug 271969
