Please describe the problem:
I get the following error message:

In function 'acme_volume_new':
acme_volume.c:(.text+0x458): undefined reference to 'acme_volume_dummy_get_type'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Steps to reproduce:
1. ceckout from CVS
2. run ./autogen,sh && make
3. 


Actual results:
compiler (gcc 3.4.4) aborts

Expected results:


Does this happen every time?
