I somehow just triggered it again while navigating in directories containing music files. Still no idea how to reproduce it.
Yeah, that's the dreaded tree view bug. See bug 158506 & bug 123051. Unfortunately the stack doesn't tell you anything about the cause of the bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 158506 ***
