Description Matt Philmon 2005-07-07 05:21:28 UTC
Version details: 0.6.1
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy

1) Started serpentine:
~$ serpentine

2) Selected two MP3 files downloaded via MonoPod. The two files were from the
"This week in Tech" podcast. Selected Write, told it to go ahead, saw the
progress bar moving around half way (still saying preparing) then saw this:
TypeError: __on_progress() takes exactly 3 arguments (4 given)
Traceback (most recent call last):
  • File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/serpentine/recording.py", line 232 in __thread
    self.preferences.write_flags)
gobject.GError: All audio files must be stereo, 16-bit digital audio with
44100Hz samples

3) After waiting several minutes for this to complete/abort I hit cancel on the
progress writing dialog which had stopped moving and saw this in the terminal:

** (serpentine:8085): CRITICAL **: nautilus_burn_recorder_cancel: assertion
`recorder->priv->process != NULL' failed

Now I can close serpentine, but I cannot close this "Writing audio disk"
dialog... no matter what I do. This happens every time I try it.
