GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 309456
does not render text in "Wildlife Matters" properly
Last modified: 2005-07-11 10:04:36 UTC
Please describe the problem: 3 particular PDFs do not render as expected. The text seems randomised in gpdf but not acroread. Steps to reproduce: 1. wget http://www.australianwildlife.org/wmmay05.zip http://www.australianwildlife.org/wmoct04.zip http://www.australianwildlife.org/wmjun04.zip 2. unzip wmmay05.zip wmoct04.zip wmjun04.zip 3. evince wm*.pdf Actual results: evince is launched, displaying 3 PDFs, all with incorrect text rendering. The text is garbled - seems to display random characters, not warped/stretched: http://bonedaddy.net/pabs3/files/tmp/evince.png Expected results: Display the normal text like acroread does: http://bonedaddy.net/pabs3/files/tmp/acroread.png Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: I'm running debian sid.
