GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 309113
Emblem attach points for folders and shares should be identical
Last modified: 2007-01-11 09:49:59 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/12159 "Nautilus starts emblems placement on the bottom left corner of folder icons. This seems to make sense, especially when using the "shared" emblem. But if you place emblems on "virtual folders" on the desktop (ie. I have a mounted nfs folder on my desktop) the emblems placement starts in the top right corner instead of the bottom left. Also note that if i create a normal folder on my desktop, emblems behave "normally" (they start in the bottom left hand corner). I have created a png graphic file to demonstrate this phenomenon, which can me found at: http://www.sharelinux.org/bugs/embbug.png"
Same goes for files on desktop which are actually softlinks created in Desktop/
Created attachment 51251 [details] Uploading http://www.sharelinux.org/bugs/embbug.png, so it doesn't get lost
The attach points of emblems are collected from gtk_icon_info_get_attach_points.
This should be fixed for the SVG icons now in CVS.
Is the issue fixed?
I got no reply on the Ubuntu bug and closed it. Closing this bug also.
