Please describe the problem:
GTK+ 2.8 will pick these up, allowing the cursor theme to be changed without
re-login. GTK+ 2.6 will just ignore these, so it is harmless to apply this patch
now. When GTK+ 2.8 becomes available, we should adjust the then misleading
descriptions of the gconf cursor theme settings, which are stored in the scheme
which is shipped in libgnome (!, why)
