Description Ross Burton 2005-06-09 17:04:34 UTC
It would be really nice if gThumb would link to lcms and use it to handle
embedded ICC profiles, correcting the image for display.

Is there any chance that Color Management will ever be implemented in gThumb?

In my case, lack of Color Management is preventing me from using gThumb for photo management (although I would love to) since on my Wide Gamut screen picture colors appear severely distorted.

Therefore I would appreciate very much if Color Management could be implemented in gThumb. eog handles ICC profiles nicely, so maybe the necessary code could be taken from there (see above).

Marking as obsolete, as this was reported for an unspecified / now-unsupported version and no recent activity has occurred.

Please feel free to reopen this bug report if it describes a bug that still occurs with a current version of gThumb.

It still applies to at least 3.6.2.
