1. View the message view as a threaded message list
2. Select a mail belonging to a thread but not the first mail in the thread
3. Press <ctrl>H or goto view and select 'Select thread'
4. Mails that come below the selected mail are only selected and mails that
appear before the selected mail are not selected.
