Description Thilo 2005-06-04 10:55:10 UTC
Distribution/Version: Fedora development

1. have at least 2 open tabs where one updates itself via Javascript and the
other has an input box.
2. type in something in the tab with the input box

Result:
the input goes in the tab where Javascript updates the page.

I consider this as a hugh security risk. I cam across this major bug a year ago
or so and reported it somewhere. i don't find it now, but back then I was told
this was a problem of Mozilla/Gecko. Fact is, that Firefox does not have THAT
problem.

As tabs are different in Epiphany as in Mozilla or Firefox I would suggest that
Epiphany develops a solution for that problem. I could imagine that an evil site
uses this function to capture passwords etc.

As this problem is the same since a year or so I am a bit concerned about
development of Epiphany!?
