GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 305818
allow the user to override document restrictions
Last modified: 2007-09-09 07:20:11 UTC
There should be a way for the user to override document restrictions, for example with a gconf key.
Gconf key sure, but I don't want to see any UI for this. Also, it should probably be left up to the distro to have this gconf key stuff enabled.
Would be nice to have a patch for this...

Comment on attachment 49224 [details] [review] Patch + <long>Allow user override document restrictions, like restriction to print or copy</long> "Allow user..." seem redundant, every pref allow user to do something... Also you miss the dot at the end. What about: Override document restrictions, like restriction to copy and to print. Now I'm not sure if we can get this in... GNOME is feature freezed but evince is not yet a GNOME module (just proposed).
Comment on attachment 49224 [details] [review] Patch It seem like it's better to wait after freeze...
Should be fixed in CVS. Thanks to all.

Why isn't this on by default? It appears to me that this is an unbreak me option.
