Description alex f 2005-05-26 12:00:32 UTC
Please describe the problem:
After the upgrade from 2.0.x to 2.2.1.1 the mail folder pane doesn't
update the new email count next to folders. As I go through the new
mails the new mail count should decrease which it doesn't. Only after changing
to a folder that hasn't any new mails and then restarting Evolution the new
email count dissappears. If you stay in the folder with the new emails and
restart, it shows not only the new count, but also just read mails as new again.

Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:
New mail count in mail folder pane doesn't update.

Expected results:
Decrease new mail count as I read through the new mails.

Does this happen every time?
Everytime.

Other information:
I use Gentoo. There is also a Bug about this in Gentoo's Bugzilla with a
screenshot. See http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87043
