Steps to reproduce:
I have installed Dia on 3 different PC's, all of them running Win XP SP2 
English. On one of the PC's I have been using Dia quite a lot and at a certain 
moment Dia started to crash when it is starting up. The 2 oteh PC's - 
fortunately - don't have this problem. I completely de-installed and re-
installed Dia on the PC in question a couple of times, equally restarted the PC 
a couple of times but the problem remains.


Stack trace:
When Dia crashes  window - that seems to be a dos window - opens that displays 
the following information

<dia.exe:2476>:Glib-CRITICAL ** file gutf8.c : line 1537(g_utf8-validate): 
assertion ' Str != NULL

Equally a window pops up containing the following information

Error signature

AppNam dia.exe
AppVer 0.0.0.0
ModName libglib-2.0-0.dll

Offset 00027479
