Steps to reproduce:
it happens usually quickly, though "at random". An easy way to reproduce it :

1. load 2 big pictures
2. in one C-a, C-c
3.  in the other : C-v

(cutting and pasting one image in the other one)

none, sorry : on win XP SP2/fully patched
