Description Sven Esbjerg 2005-05-07 12:24:34 UTC
I would like to have keyboard shortcuts for accessing the menu on the default
top panel.

I know I can press Alt+F1 to see the menu but I am missing the ability to press
a key for one of the sub-menus. Example: To launch gimp press Alt+F1 then g for
graphics and then g for gimp. The g's could be any part of the specific title.
Normally (in MS Windows fx.) the letter to be pressed will be underlined thus
showing the user which key to press.

Most menus in gnome adhere to this standard except the standard menus on the panel.
