Last modified: 2008-12-29 08:53:37 UTC
Please describe the problem: The weather calendar option offers all U.S. states, but not the District of Columbia, aka Washington, D.C. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create new weather calendar in Evolution 2.2.2. 2. Select "Location" North America -> United States 3. There is no selection available for "District of Columbia" (Washington, D.C.) in the list of states & cities. Actual results: No appropriate weather calendar is available. Expected results: N/A Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
I believe this bug relates to the (excellent) weather plugin coded by David Trowbridge.
confirming this in evo 2.4 ... changing status to NEW
Created attachment 115539 [details] XML File /usr/share/evolution-data-server-2.22/weather/Locations.xml amended to include an entry for Washington, D.C (using data for DCA, Reagan Airport) Attached a corrected /usr/share/evolution-data-server-2.22/weather/Locations.xml It contains the appropriate entry for Washington, D.C. using data from DCA (Reagan Airport). The change is lines 103-105. <state name="District of Columbia"> <location type="ccf" code="DCA" url="http://www.crh.noaa.gov/data/LWX/CCFLWX">Washington, D.C.</location> </state> The additional entry is trivial, uses the correct format to appear in the location list, correct URL. Tested - works great in a new weather calendar.

Patches from bug 352287 should solve it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 352287 ***
