Description Per Thomas Jahr 2005-04-29 07:28:29 UTC
Sometimes I send images in email as an attachment. It would be nice if the
"Attach file(s)" dialog could display thumbnails so that I don't need to go to
Nautilus to see images.

very related to bug 300884
Comment 2 Jeffrey Stedfast 2005-04-29 17:04:17 UTC
seems like this should be a gtk file chooser dialog feature request and not an
evo request
Comment 3 Per Thomas Jahr 2005-05-02 06:32:24 UTC
Yes, this could be a gtk file chooser request if one would like to see all files
in the selected folder as icons/thumbnails. I guess this would require some
additions to the file chooser dialog.

But a first step would be to see a preview of the selected file in the file
chooser (and not all files). I think that is supported already in the gtk file
chooser with set_preview_widget.

As of 2.4, it does show preview.
