Please describe the problem:
when the launchers bar which contains the launchers and
"applications"/"places"/"system" menus is dragged to the left or right sides of
the scree, the launcher icons become very enlarged and blurry. 

Steps to reproduce:
1. Drag the "applications"/"places"/"system" bar to the laft or right of the screen.



Actual results:
the launcher icons become very enlarged and blurry. 

Expected results:
the launcher button icons should be normal-sized

Does this happen every time?
yes.

Other information:
im using ubuntu linux, hoary release.
