Unable to run Gparted 0.0.8.1 under Ubuntu Warty

Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Warty 1) Install latest GParted 0.0.8 deb package from Sourceforge link (successful) by using dpkg utility 2) Try to run it but it fails I am able to see GParted main panel and it says it is scanning the devices but later it closes down for unknown reasons. I have tried older Gparted versions but all of them failed.The worst still, all of them do not show the main panel. The Ubuntu Warty is using vmlinuz-2.6.8.1-5-386. I uses the latest libparted package version. I have all latest filesystem utilities, tools and progs installed in my Ubuntu. Am I missing something? I have tried installing libparted1.6-dev to build the source but still there are some errors.
actually you have submitted 2 bugs. One about not being able to run it and one about buildproblems. :) I guess the first problem might be related to #157871 which is fixed in CVS. To test this you need to compile it yourself, which leads us to your second bug, the buildproblems :) Somehow parted.h couldn't be found, are you sure it's in your path etc..?
