select a group of messages in the inbox,  select move to folder,  select folder 

evolution moves the selected messages to the selected folder but also copies
them to the trash folder

move is copy + delete, so this is expected behaviour

As explained in duplicate bug 329946 this would be solved by non-virtual trash folders. Marking as duplicate of bug 206061.
