GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 300023
Takes a long time to startup
Last modified: 2005-09-29 13:51:41 UTC
After dragging lots of files (which happen to be on an nfs drive) into the burn:// target, if I then select "Write to Disc..." from the menu, it takes ages (~20 seconds) to actually show the "Write to Disc" window. Somehow the user needs to be informed that something is happening, either using startup-notification, or bringing up the "Write to Disc" window with "Calulcating size" or a similar message in the "Data size" segment, and obviously grey out the "Write disc" button while that is happening
