GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 274397
Groupwise: filters don't apply ...
Last modified: 2005-04-14 09:41:30 UTC
Since I was being regularly prompted for authentication to a server I wasn't using to send E-mail (most odd); I thought I'd switch to use the 'Groupwise' type instead of IMAP. Now none of my filtering works; also - comparing vs. the IMAP view of the same inbox - I see a radically different view - I get tons of (bogus) Calendar / appointment mails in my 'Mailbox' that previously showed up in the 'Calendar' folder. Looks acutely buggy to me, switching back to raw IMAP: michael@linux:/opt/mono/mono/mono> rpm -qa | grep evolution evolution-data-server-devel-1.2.0.0.200503210400-0.snap.novell.0.1 evolution-data-server-1.2.0.0.200503210400-0.snap.novell.0.1 evolution-2.2.0.0.200503210400-0.snap.novell.0.1 evolution-devel-2.2.0.0.200503210400-0.snap.novell.0.1
With the Groupwise protocol, all the calendar items (appointments, tasks) will appear in the 'Mailbox' folder; in compliance with how a Groupwise client behaves.
