GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 270532
evolution 1.4.x to 2.0.1 data migration crash under suse 9.2
Last modified: 2004-12-14 00:24:46 UTC
Steps to reproduce the crash: Just run evolution 2.0.1 for the first time. Resetting the version string with gconf2 and rerunning lead to the same crash. Expected Results: No crash How often does this happen? Every time I tried Additional Information: I did rm -rf $HOME/evolution/local/Calendar and then it worked (no more crashes). The only problem left was that all of the tools/settings/mail accounts where lost, I manually shutdown'ed evolution and gconf then copied by hand .gconf/apps/evolution/mail/%gconf.xml from my backup and they were all back.
