Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:45:13 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1 Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.8.1 2.0.2 Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: crash on the contact part Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook] Bugzilla-Version: 2.0.2 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: When I try to go in the contact part of evolution I get a crasher I'm not sure but perhaps this bug is a dup of #37386. The problem is related to something in my configuration since it doesn't crash with an another user on the same box. Any idea of which file could be the problem ? evolution/eds 2.0.2 gal2.2 2.2.3 Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-2.0' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". does anybody care about this bug ? My "Contacts" just crash for almost 3 months now, is there any way to help with this bug ?
thanks to jpr for the help on IRC, the crash is due to ~/.evolution/addressbook/views/custom_view-file:___home_user_.evolution_addressbook_local_system.xml which contains: <?xml version="1.0"?> <EMinicardViewState column_width="260.500000000000000"/>
Closing the bug... Reopen if the issue is not resolved.
that works fine for me with this file now
