Description Tino Meinen 2004-07-15 17:18:19 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Add new contact
2. go to Mailing Address tab
3. type in Address field, give a tab to move to the City text entry field.
4. a tab is shown in the Address field.

Actual Results:
a tab is shown in the Address field.

Expected Results:
The cursor should move to the City entry field upon entering a tab

How often does this happen?
always

Additional Information:
Pressing Shift-Tab, lets you move through every entry field in the dialog,
but in the opposite direction. So City is reachable just by using the
keyboard, but it's a drag to go through every field of the dialog just to
reach the next entry

There's IMHO no reason why tabs are neccesary in the Address field. Enter
gives a newline in the entry box, so people can have flexibility in
designing wierd address fields if they like.
Expected behaviour is moving to the next entry field upon Tab.

One other thing. Giving a Tab in the City field, moves the cursor back
again into the Address field! (I would have just filled that in after City
wouldn't I?)
A Tab in Zip/Postal Code moves the cursor correctly to the State/Province
field.

Evolution 1.4 had a different setup for adding an Address to a
contact, but the dialog behaved correctly tab-wise.
