Comment 1 Jeffrey Stedfast 2004-06-12 14:35:57 UTC
when you hit delete, the emssage got marked for deletion and then it
moved to the next message.

same as it works in every other folder.

this is the desired behaviour.
Comment 2 Nagappan Alagappan 2004-06-13 09:18:26 UTC
I'm talking about move option !!??!!
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2004-06-14 02:53:41 UTC
move is a copy & delete.

all deleted messages show in the trash folder.
Comment 4 Nagappan Alagappan 2004-06-14 05:27:25 UTC
Jeff:
1. Select any user created folder by a right click
2. Then select the Move option
3. A popup box will be thrown with the list of available folders.
Select one folder and press Move button.

Expected behaviour; Mails in the source folder should be moved to
destination folder.

Actuall behaviour; Mails from source folder are not moved to the
destination folder.

Comment 5 Gerardo Marin 2004-06-14 06:29:02 UTC
Nagappan: what happens is that the selected mail and *not* the folder
is moved.
We don't move entire folders, this is by design (however, since last
read message is selected by default it can look like you are able to
meve the folder which isn't)
Comment 6 Nagappan Alagappan 2004-06-14 09:06:28 UTC
Gerardo: No, I expect only the mails should move. Evolution bundled
with NLD Beta1, is not at all moving a single mail to the destination
folder. If possible, Can you please recreate this scenario and check ?
Comment 7 Gerardo Marin 2004-06-14 21:58:56 UTC
Ok. I reproduced this.
1. Select any mail folder.
2. Right click on it.
3. From context menu select "Move"
4. Select where to move.

Does nothing. Context menu option must work or be removed.
Comment 8 Jeffrey Stedfast 2004-06-15 22:16:33 UTC
fixed in CVS

Comment 18 vivek jain 2005-08-18 05:34:15 UTC
It needs a new API for groupwise. Setting target to 2.5.

evolution-groupwise provides connectivity to Novell Groupwise servers. The last stable release of evolution-groupwise was 3.4.2 which took place a year ago.

evolution-groupwise is not under active development anymore.

It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping.

Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
