GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 257903
Paperclip icon overload
Last modified: 2005-01-12 17:10:23 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: Key signatures are getting so popular that it is getting impossible to tell a legitimate attachment from a signature key. The majority of mail on some mailing lists all have paperclips by them when I view email. I really do need to be able to tell when the mailing list members post documents. Can you make it so the paperclip icon changes to some other icon (e.g.: a key) when the attachment matches some criteria (e.g.: < 600 bytes)? Thanks! Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. go to www.osdl.org mailing list. 2. 3. Actual Results: paperclips everywhere Expected Results: different icons for different attachment types How often does this happen? Way too much. Additional Information:
I'm almost certain this is a duplicate request.
to not show a signature/encyrption as icon in the message list is a duplicate of bug 237623, having another icon in the message list for gpg/pgp contrary to attachments is a dup of bug 207831. closing. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 237623 ***
