Description William Jon McCann 2004-04-26 14:58:20 UTC
I'm not sure what the official term is so I will define sidebar as the area
that includes the source selector, info widget, and component buttons.

There are times when it is useful or necessary to expand the main content
pane to a maximum size. To do this it is necessary to hide the sidebar.
Currently, this is not possible.

I think an item in the View menu to show/hide the status bar would be a
great addition.

as discussed with nags, changing component to "Misc" to get rid of the UI
component, also reassign to Misc-assignee. adding UI keyword.
