Last modified: 2003-07-01 16:11:13 UTC
Package: Evolution Priority: Major Version: GNOME2.2.2 1.4.0 os_details: Dropline Systems Synopsis: Contacts Crashes Evolution (on alteration) Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook] BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.1) Description: Description of Problem: When I add a contact or change a contact. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a contact or double click a contact to change information 2. Add information 3. Click "Save and Close" Actual Results: It crashes Evolution but it does add the information Expected Results: Um - not crash. How often does this happen? It happens nearly every time I click Save and Close when adding information. Only once has it ever not crashed when I had done so. It crashes about half the time when I add a new contact or change existing information. I've tried saving first and then closing. Occassionaly that works as well (about 3 times) Every other time it crashed. I've tried changing entries about a total of alteast 30 different times (mostly attempting to find a pattern) Unfortunately I came out with no luck. Additional Information: The error I get exactly is: Application "evolution" (process ######) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Segmentation fault) Currently running: Slackware 9.0 GTK-2.2.2 Evolution 1.4.0 (Packaged by dropline-gnome) Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' [New Thread 16384 (LWP 26669)] [New Thread 32769 (LWP 26670)] [New Thread 16386 (LWP 26671)] [New Thread 32771 (LWP 26672)] [New Thread 49156 (LWP 26673)] 0x4130bf29 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
