Description Johann Glaser 2003-06-13 12:27:02 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1.4
Synopsis: Long Appointment Summaries now do line break after each word
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar

Description:
Description of Problem:
In the Calendar Day view for an appointment with a long "Summary" line
(e.g. a sentence or a tale, ...) each word is written in a seperate
line. It should do line breaks at the width of the displayed appointment
field. If the last line doesn't fit it should display "..." with a
"OnMouseOver" to display the hole appointment summary (in a tooltip)

Strange, after I've posted the bug Evolution now displays all
appointments with un-wrapped summaries. For accounts which are quite
long (several hours) and the text would fit quite well when wrapped on
appointment width (in day view), it doesn't wrap at all. :-(

closing bug 244721 (as discussed with gerardo on irc) since code has
changed and seemingly re-changed. there's a newer report, bug 261081.
marking as duplicate.
