Description Sigve Indregard 2003-06-10 07:35:30 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

After upgrading to evolution-1.4 (standard rpm-based RH9 install via
go.ximian.com), the calendar cannot be shown for some users of the system.
The following output is made to console:

(evolution:3941): GConf-CRITICAL **: file gconf-value.c: line 863
(gconf_value_get_int): assertion `value->type == GCONF_VALUE_INT' failed

(evolution:3941): GConf-CRITICAL **: file gconf-value.c: line 863
(gconf_value_get_int): assertion `value->type == GCONF_VALUE_INT' failed

(evolution:3941): GConf-CRITICAL **: file gconf-value.c: line 863
(gconf_value_get_int): assertion `value->type == GCONF_VALUE_INT' failed

(evolution:3941): GConf-CRITICAL **: file gconf-value.c: line 863
(gconf_value_get_int): assertion `value->type == GCONF_VALUE_INT' failed

Even if I remove the entire $HOME/evolution/ dir, this behaviour continues.
It does not help to remove $HOME/.gconf/apps/evolution/ either.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start evolution
2. Change to "Calendar"

Actual Results:
The calendar will not be shown. Instead, the task list is shown.

Expected Results:
The calendar is suppose to be shown.

How often does this happen?
Every time calendar is chosen.

Additional Information:
The system is a straightforward standard RH9 i386 (Athlon).
